Gulf Shores, Alabama

March 13 - 31, 2016

Sue Barton seems to have a great picture to add to our Facebook conversations every day. Love those pictures, Sue!

Sunday afternoon, March 13, found FOS enjoying ice cream at The Wharf. The weather kept us in on Saturday.

Nothing like a spot to visit and enjoy a cool ice cream treat.

The Wharf has become one of our favorite hangouts!

Tuesday, March 14 found FOS Paddlers on the Fish River.

The windy weather was a challenge, but we managed to paddle upstream and then follow the current back down the river.

Carl seems to be looking for a place to eat. Surprise? No!!!

We decided burgers and sweet potato fries were a good order at Big Daddies on the Fish River.

No doubt, Sue is ready to ride on March 15.

Betty and Peter think the ride to Orange Beach sounds good.

Lunch at Orange Beach Park is always good.

We only hope we don't get rain on the trip back to GSP.

If you have anything extra, Terry, Carl will be happy to lighten your load!??

Tuesday Evening, March 15, found Betty and Peter enjoying campfire complete with wine and cheese.

Frank and Kris have found yummies at the campfire.

OK, Jim. Are you going to give Karen a little wine?

Linda and Bill think we need to have wine and cheese more often at campfire.

Warren and JoAnn can't seem to decide what they should eat next (or perhaps what they should drink next)!

So glad to see Sherry and Don are agreeing...heads up! So glad to see Don is recovering from his eye surgery.

Bruce and Bobbi are always "all smiles". Do they know something we don't know???

Sue is our photographer with the greatest pictures of GSP. Love those pictures!

Kathy and Dave seem to be enjoying their return to GSP.

OK, Steve and Linda, you are obviously having a good time at campfire.

Benji says he needs to have a few crackers and cheese.

Carl, Beth and Rusty think campfires are the best!

Seems like Lefty doesn't really want one of the babies on her back.

St. Patrick's Day saw FOS up and over the bridge. Yahoo!

Lunch at Cobalt's was a great way to celebrate the ride.

Saturday, March 19, was a great day to ride for exercise (and ice cream)! Nancy, Malcolm and Molly are ready for the Back Country Trails.

A stop by "Lefty's Hole" provided great picture opportunities for the babies.

FOS were out on the water again this week. March 21 made for another great paddle on Wolfe Creek.

Terry seems to think it is a bit chilly...sock hat and kayaking? Why not?

Just another picture from the kayak trip.

Tuesday March 22 saw fewer FOS arrive for the Picnic ride, but we are hanging in there for the last few days at GSP.

JoAnn, Karen and Sue are helping with "Flat Stanley's" visit to Gulf Shores.

Seems we are always looking for Lefty and her babies!

Sue found this wonderful flock of white Pelicans ready for picture taking on Middle Lake! What a wonderful picture memory!

Tuesday Evening, March 22, FOS held their final campfire of the GSP season.

Food and fun were featured as we bid farewell to our FOS for the 2016 "snowbird season".

Just in case you hadn't noticed, our furry friends are always welcome at FOS events. Marley seems to know there are treats for him at campfire.

Rusty and Benji are chilling out for the evening!

Molly and her daughter are enjoying the yummy food at campfire.

Do you think Carl and Terry will have the challenges of the world solved anytime soon?

Last official ride for FOS for this season. Looks like we are ready to head north to cooler temperatures.

Flat Stanley had one last visit to see one of Lefty's babies.
