Who says FOS can't travel! Dan, Sue, Rich, Sue, Andy and Howard have made
their way to Arizona. Happy Trails FOS. Miss you, but love your travel pictures!
Sure glad we had some "Up North" clothes for Mardi Gras 2015! Brrrrr!
Throw me something mister!
Lots of beads, moon pies and toys were thrown to the crowd.
Time to celebrate with food and drinks.
Even though the weather was chilly, we celebrated Mardi Gras in true FOS-GS style.
Yes, we do have some 15 hearty tough FOS-GS riders. Resting at the Post Office, we're enjoying
the chatter of all in attendance, mostly comparing the number of layers each was wearing.
Even though cold and windy, the trail offers good protection and scenic beauty making this day on the trail, Feb 19, very enjoyable.
Time to get instructions from Jim before our ride on Feb. 21.
Looks like warm weather is here today...notice all those shorts!
Perfect day for a picnic lunch at the pavilion next to Bob Perry's memorial bench. Sue says
she spends time here enjoying the peaceful surroundings...and so do all FOS-GS.
No doubt, this was a perfect day to click off some miles.
FOS-GS started the day with brunch, waiting for the temperatures to warm enough to ride to West End Beach.
Looks like the sun has brought FOS-GS to the boat ramp, ready to roll.
No doubt the Beach Road was filled with FOS-GS headed to West End Beach.
We are making sure we document the turn around point, ready to ride back to
TCBY for ice cream before riding Back Country Trails back to the campground.
Twelve very hardy FOS-GS gathered for a ride Feb. 26...temps. In the Lo 40's.
After a good warm up ride we decided hot coffee was in order!
Happy Birthday to Karen! Nice she rode with us on a chilly birthday.
Question of the day...do we get back on our bikes and
ride home or do we call for back up? (We rode home!)
Looks like FOS-GS are bundled up for an evening around the campfire.
Rusty doesn't seem to mind the chilly weather.
Look who arrived just in time for campfire! FOS-E Bear has traveled a lot
this past year. He's now looking for a "forever home" with a FOS family.
Do you think we need a bigger campsite to accommodate our FOS-GS friends.
At least we have lots of wood to keep the fire going.
And we have lots of food to keep us smiling and ready for the next ride!
Beth Pearce has been contributing lots of pictures for our website. Finally, a picture of her!
FOS-GS are ready to roll on a beautiful sunny day.
We're headed to the Orange Beach Festival at the Wharf.
We experienced a bigger and improved Seafood Festival at the Wharf. We even enjoyed our first ever Bike Valet.
The Orange Beach Festival must have known we were coming. They provided free
valet services for our bikes so we could walk around and enjoy the car show,
shop the numerous craft vendors and enjoy lunch provided by various restaurants. Great day!
