21-31 January Pictures

We had a windy ride today, Jan. 22. We took the Backcountry Trail into town for ice cream.

Kandy and Karen are waiting for ice cream.

Jim has the juke box playing some of our favorite music from our teenage years.

Donna has the magic touch with her back rubs. Looks like Ken is enjoying the rub!

Post Office Ride.

Chilly winds Jan. 24. FOS-GS ride with extra layers of clothing. They were
glad to stop at Boulder Park and the Butterfly House for lunch.

Even the bikes get a rest.

Campfire Jan. 24 hosted by Carl and Beth Pearce was a welcome event to chase away the chill.

Happy smiles tell us we were having fun even though we had to bundle up around the campfire Jan 24.

Several FOS-GS and riders from SLOW BICYCLE SOCIETY of the EASTERN SHORE joined for a ride to
Bear Point from OB sports complex. Approximately 30 braved the 25-30mph gusty winds to complete the journey.

On our joint ride to Bear Point, Steve Camerig happened on an alligator and Linda snapped this shot. Brave man Steve!

33 FOS-GS had a great ride on Jan. 27. The weather was warm, sunny and clear blue skies.

We stopped for lunch at Pleasure Island Tiki Bar on our Jan. 27 ride. Favorite place,
good food and wonderful friends to share the day.

We sure have a great group of friends...FOS-GS always know where the
good food can be found. Jan. 27 ride was no exception!

FOS-GS traveled to Santa Rosa Island for a beach ride Jan 29...look at those bright blue skies!

Santa Rosa Island gave us lots of great scenery, beautiful homes to admire and warm temperatures to enjoy.

Darrold was really trucking!

We're not sure what Carl, Bob And Bernie were talking about, but we think it had something to do with "learning to fly".

We stopped for a snack on the beach before heading back to Pensacola to
have dinner at McGuire's. It was the perfect FOS-GS day!

These FOS-GS are conspiring how to secretly remove some of those millions
of dollar bills plastered everywhere at McGuire's Irish Pub in Pensacola.

Oh yes, and here's Morrie helping cute little 'Twiggy' gather menus. Good work Mr. Frisbie.

FOS-GS got into the Mardi Gras spirit decorating their bikes for the GSP parade Jan. 31.

Carl, Kande and Bob are ready to ride!

Do you think we have enough "throws"?

Ready to ride..."Throw me something Mister!"

Steve and Linda think they have enough "throws" to make it through the parade route. Good luck!
