Chilly weather, determined riders, and lots of layers of clothing made our Feb. 3 ride a success!

We found warmer temperatures and hot food a welcome relief as we stopped for lunch at the Oyster House in Orange Beach.

Carl is convincing Jim and Katie not all rides are this chilly (but sometimes more windy!).

Time to get those jackets back on as we get ready to add a few more miles.

Some 25 very hearty FOS-GS bikers braved the 40deg weather to ride to Wintzel's for
a very fine lunch and a cool 18 mile ride. This will be a repeat lunch venue for FOS-GS.

Feb. 5 started with chilly temperatures and a brisk wind. As you can see, some of
our FOS-GS ladies are "taking cover" behind the boat ramp storage building at GSP.

The guys are ready to ride!

After a ride through the park to Gulf Shores we stopped for a frozen yogurt snack.

FOS-GS rode twenty five miles today...so we're not feeling guilty about our stop for frozen yogurt.

The Brat Fest at Gulf Shores gave us a welcome break on our Fort Morgan Trail ride Feb.7.
We had thirty plus riders, I gave up counting as they wouldn't stand still.

Welcome to FOS-GS newbies!

Oh my, seems we need a shoe repair for Carl before starting our trek back from the end of the trail.

After enjoying lunch at the Gulf Shores Bratfest, the slower biking group (aka The Turtles)
rode out Ft. Morgan Rd. as far as the Seafood Market. Total miles: 24
Steve & Linda, Morrie & Mary, Bob & Kandye, Jim & Kathy, Valorie

Looks like Bob needs a bit of rest after our ice cream treat at Gulf Shores McDonalds. Tough day Bob?

This sums up our intense desire to reward ourselves for many miles
of riding fun. I scream, We All SCREAM for .............!!!!

Zoom in on these happy folks, #1.

Zoom in on these happy folks, #2.

Perfect weather at our Feb. 8 campfire hosted by Betty and Peter Meyerink.

Chili, salad and yummy desserts kept us going back for second servings.

We had two firepits and enough firewood to keep everyone warm.

Looks like spring isn't far away. A few FOS-GS had on shorts this evening.

Jim had a great ride planned on Feb10. Notice we're all taking cover from the chilly wind.
We'll be taking a route to find as much protection from the wind as possible.

A stop for lunch in Orange Beach brought lots of smiles to the hungry travelers.

Hurricane Grill served good food and their hospitality made FOS-GS feel very welcome.

Biker ladies ready to ride (or line dance?) Feb. 12.

The guys are all business...planning our ride on Feb. 12.

Looks like we managed to find ice cream at The Wharf!

Valentine's Day was special for Grammie Sue. We had three of her grandchildren
join us for today's ride. Yeah..bringing them up right!

34 FOS-GS ride on Valentine's Day. We had gorgeous weather and lots of Valentine candy to pass around.

Stopped at the Butterfly House for a picnic lunch before continuing on our journey.
