We all arrived at Shipshewana, Indiana on Friday September 12th ready and excited to start our biking adventure. Bob Strader planned our bike rides while Karen planned some other activities that we could do. On Saturday we had dinner at the Millers. They are an Amish family that invites groups into their home for dinner and answer any questions you may have about the Amish way of life. During the week some of us toured the RV Hall of Fame. Monday we toured the Jayco RV plant to see how their RV's were made. Tuesday we rode to a camel farm and learned about what it takes to raise camels. Wednesday it was pack up the RV'S and off to Cedar Springs, Michigan. Bobbie had some great plans for us in Cedar Springs which included touring the Meijer Gardens. Some went to see the President Gerald Ford Museum. There was also wine tasting and ice cream. We all had a great time with each other and enjoyed playing games and going out to lunch and dinner. A special thanks to Karen and Jim for Shipshewana and Bobbie and Bruce for Cedar springs. Next year we look forward for Pennsylvania with Joann and Warren Dowling as our hosts.
